Preparing for an Earthquake with Seismic Retrofitting

Being in an area where earthquakes strike, taking steps to be prepared and having a plan in place is a strategy many Californians take. Foundation Repair of CA's project manager, Brett Cesarin, was recently featured in an article discussing seismic retrofitting as a means to prepare for the next big earthquake.  

A home's foundation, design and the soil it is built on all influence the amount of damage an earthquake can leave behind.  The main thing a homeowner can do to minimize the impact of an earthquake is to take the load path of the house and absorb it into the foundation.
