Foundation Repair Photo Album: Structural Floor Repair For A 1913 Home in Oakland

Some photos of a SmartJack project in Oakland to help the homeowner repair his sunken floor. The issue with the floor system was that there weren't enough support posts within the crawl space. We installed eighteen SmartJacks and eight 10 ft. long Steel Square Beams to lift and stabilize the floor.

Uneven Floor

Concrete Footing

Here you see the preparation for the concrete footing that a SmartJack Steel Post will stand on. Four sticks of #4 rebar are tied into this square shape before the concrete will be poured.
