E. wanted to remodel her home to create a more livable space, but first she needed to make sure that the foundation of her home was in good condition. An inspection determined that the foundation and floor system of her home were unleveled, showing signs of settlement, which is quite often the case with older homes within the South San Francisco and greater Bay Area. If she wanted the remodel to happen, the settlement would need to be dealt with first.
