Homeowner had unfinished crawl space and wanted to create a clean air flow. Foundation Repair of CA encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace liner.
When the house was built, this floor post was installed poorly, causing it to tilt like losing a game of tug-of-war.
Our solution: The wood post was still in good shape so it didn't need to be replaced. We re-centered the post so it was entirely on the footing beneath it, and then we retrofitted it with a T-Bracket to give it more stability and to keep it from tilting like before.
Moisture is often the cause of foundation destruction. With the installation of our CleanSpace Liner (and SmartSump sump pump), the foundation of this home became better prepared to fend off potential moisture damage.
When this customer needed an option for keeping her crawl space dry, she reached out to Foundation Repair of CA to find out what her possibilities could be. Enter in Brett! Brett took a look at her crawl space and knew that we were the right people for the job.
Once the solution was designed, our foreman, George, entered and began the work. While he was able to place the matting down, unfortunately, the rain caused too much water to enter the crawl space and we were not able to complete the work immediately. Tyler and his team entered at a later date and completed the work. The customer's crawl space is now beautifully covered and the customer has the peace of mind that the water issues are at bay.
